Read an eBook Day - 16 September 2016

When I logged into my library's Overdrive web page today, I'm told that 16 September is Read an eBook Day.

At first I got this confused with Read An eBook Week, which Rita Toews started years ago. It looks like Read An eBook Day is solely some kind of OverDrive marketing thing.

I read the title as "Read an ebook a day."
That one little bitty word changed the entire meaning.

It's also what I read. My first thought was: "Impossible. I don't have the time for that."

Ironically, I was planning to read a paper book today! LOL

I took the kids to the local (independent) bookstore yesterday and while they were browsing, I found two books on the sale shelves that looked interesting. I almost didn't buy them, because the last time I read a paper book was back in 2011, when I read a book a friend sent to me, but I decided to give in to the impulse.
