Automatic/triggered reload in calibre-server?

Hello,

I recently started using calibre-server in daemon mode on my FreeBSD server to share my library among friends and I saw that update to the library is not seen by calibre-server unless I kill/restart it.

Is there a way either to have it reload by itself the books' list or a way (signal SIGHUP/SIGUSR1 or a file) to trigger such reload?

Thanks.

The server automatically reloads the database whenever the mtime of metadata.db is changed.

Thanks, I was surprised it didn't do it. I'll check why.

SO WEIRD! I've recently experieneced a similar issue! Content server on web is showing 1487 books in the library, but gui interface shows 1501 books. Running on ubuntu 14.04 and was working fine until recently.....any way to force content-server to update from metadata.db?

I'm running the latest version of calibre 2.64

Ok, never mind. Just added a new book and the whole thing updated! I guess some weird glitch.
