[BUG] - M96 out of memory - [BUG]
Hi,
I have downloaded some apps and M96 went out of memory. I have investigated and what I noticed is that it shows me: "internal storage" 496 MB Apps 344 MB available 68.76 MB then I have "internal storage" 2.27 GB Apps 66.77 MB ... Available 1.89 Gb SDcard bla bla When I go to apps, I see: Dowloaded: 370 MB used 126 MB free On SD card 382MB used 1.96 GB free so I imagine this: - Apps are usually stored on / - "internal storage" somewhere is / and somewhere is /sdcard - when I do "move app on SD card" it is put on the INTERNAL sd (/sdcard) and not in the extarnal SD (/mnt/extsd) but apps that don't let to be moved on SD, stay on / Result: out of memory and can't download swiftkey. :( Now I will try to re-root (lost root after the last update) and to move on the sdcard (whatever it will be with titanium backup pro). Thank you very much for fixing this OR tell me where I am stupidly wrong. Alf |
Although you have enough space "internal storage" 2.27 GB ,
Onyx set the place you setup is just here("internal storage" 496 MB,available 68.76 MB) Next month it is likely to release Kitkat Rom for M96/T68/I86, I think it is a good idea to tell Onyx-International what your problem is , maybe it'll solved, it's not difficult to solve, many Android Phone/Pad Manufacturers have solution for it. |

I'm using my second new Onyx Boox M96 and both of these will not put anything on the sd/card 32GB. Should I send this one back too?

E.g: Install Swiftkey on your mobile or in any other root android device you had. Copy this app on your M96 or T68 to /data/app/ and rename the app to com.touchtype.swiftkey-1.apk (modify the permissions to rw-r--r-- and change the owner to "owner:system & group:system") and reboot your device. Et voilą!!! You can still use your available internal storage with this method. Best. |
thank you for suggestion. I put this here so Booxstor can see this and others.
I moved apps to "sdcard" (internal) with titanium backup. It works good, until I finish my "sdcard" alf |
