Title format in "save book to disk"?

I have set the file format string to this:
Code:

{author_sort:re([.],)}/{authors} - {series}{series_index:0>2s| | - }{title:re([?],)}
However, for a title like "The Grapes of Wrath", the {title} comes out as "Grapes of Wrath, The" (i.e. it uses title sort order). Is there an alternative to {title} that uses the plain title rather than sort order, like {author} vs. {author_sort}?

You can change this setting in the options of calibre.

List of words considered as "articles" to sort text (ID: per_language_title_sort_articles)

Yes, but I only want this for "save to disk" -- I don't want "The Grapes of Wrath" to appear sorted under "T" in the Calibre library window, I only want it like this for the saved filename.

I don't think you want to mess with what are 'Articles'. That will mess with the sort.

You want to control the Export:
Look at the tweak: 'save_template_title_series_sorting'

This tweak may be ignored because you are using a advanced template

BTW something related that has been around forever (using program mode).

With the tweak set to 'library_order', Articles are not consistent on EXPORT

Many thanks. Damn, you've got so many features tucked away in the corners -- it seems there's always a way to do what I want if only I could find it!
