MOBI development documentation

Hello

We are in great need of MOBI format specification (description, standard). To be able to develop a plugin for creation of MOBI format. Can anyone please advice or share advanced technical documentation?

We are basically in need of any complete format specification, but not such simple that you would find on some "how to create your mobi" kind of website.

Take a look at the source code for Calibre. It has all you'll might need to know about Mobi.

I don't think the wiki covers all that's been discovered about KF8 format. As well as the calibre sources, the KindleUnpack scripts are also worth a look.
