Possible Bug
 
I may have a possible bug. Purchased CC from Amazon. Current version is 3.3.5

When I connect and try to send any book (format does not matter) wireless from Calibre to CC I am always ask if I would like to auto convert before uploading. I have Moon+Pro & Mantano Reader Premium. At one time I was able to upload epub format and read thru Moon or Mantano. If I convert and try to open the book in either reader all I have is a bunch of unreadable characters.

Any suggestions on how to fix this. I prefer reading my books in Moon or Mantano.

Sounds as if you've got the format set wrongly in CC. Unlike any other device, with CC you set the format(s) it will accept in CC, not in Calibre.

Go to the "Settings" menu in CC, select the top item, "Formats and Folders", and make sure that "ePub" is checked, and at the top of the list.

I suspect the device driver profile is damaged.
I just don't know which one is used by CC.

Looking in the config folder: do you see a PY file with SMART_DEVICE_APP,
That may be it

I do not know what was wrong but uninstalling and reinstalling solved the problem.

I have been having problems with my Kindle so who knows. I am still arguing with tech support. The device has been reset 10 times in the last week. No one at Amazon seems to understand that it is not working correctly.
