How does this reviewing thing work? Do people usually drop hints about their progress and their opinions as they go on?

For the normal club (as opposed to the literary club), we select the book at the beginning of the month and then start the discussion on the 20th. That way we have time to get and read it before the discussion begins. If you want to read w/ discussion you would want to wait till around the 20th to start, but most people seem to want to read and then post about it afterwards.
