How to get free Play store cash from Google - US Only

May be of some interest for people to get free book credits....I used today and already earned a whole dollar. Lol

Google has released a survey app where users are rewarded with free Play store credit.Jason Cipriani/CNETWant a quick and easy way to earn some Play store credits by offering nothing but some time and your opinions? Of course you do!And Google wants your opinion, so it has released an app called*Google Opinion Rewardsfor Android users. The app is free and only takes a few minutes to set up, with the process requiring you to take a survey. Your answers to the initial survey will be used to customize the surveys you'll receive on your device in the future.

Will have to try it out when I get my Galaxy Player. Heard about it on the alternative section on a Apple related forum.

And hey, a dollar isn't bad! Especially when they have like 15 and 99 cent deals all the time, along with $3.99 albums! At least on the internet, $25 is worth a lot more than it was in 2004. I remember getting $10-25 in iTunes cards from my parents... "Bummer, one album or a few songs," Now it's like, "OMG, what apps can I buy to get the most out of this $25?! :D"

Even better that there are $1.99 Kindle Singles and just generally really cheap eBooks. ;)

agreed...and the first survey I answered had like 10 questions tops...hopefully they will all be as nice :D

Has anyone gotten this to work on a Nook HD+? I keep getting told I need to enable Google Play Services, but I have no idea how to do that...

gabby98 11-09-2013 01:19 AM

I think it would only work on the Nooks Rooted with the card

Are you updated to the latest version of the OS?

I have Google Play on my HD+ and haven't had any problems with it (not tried much.

You still can't do third party apps unless you root or dual boot (which is very annoying - my stereo and NAS both use an app they have at their own websites, so it works great on any other device I have, including Kindle, but not on the Nooks).

I didn't try it on my HD+, but I did see similar issues with the game Quell which uses Google+ and Play Services to sync your game progress to the cloud. It works all of my stock Android devices, but not on the Nook HD+. I loaded this on my phone. I love the last question on the sample survey:

"To prove you're still paying attention, choose 5 stars."

Got my first survey about going to the movies. $1 credit to my Play account. Woohoo! :)

Got my first one too. Free money is good.

I am waiting to be approved--filled out the initial survey, got a message that I would subsequently be notified, but nothing has come through.

Bummer. On my (original, 2012 model) Nexus 7, the app just crashes.

It's not free, unless you place no value on your time.

Or your privacy. Google already knows too much about me.

Seems this is only available in the USA. Please make it obvious. :-) Hope the colonies enjoy it.
