Here's the last of the four main novels of The Herries Chronicles.

There are two other connecting novels that relate to the Chronicles that I'll do, thus finishing Hugh Walpole's desire to (in his words) "record scenes from the life of an English family during two hundred years of English change and fortune, and beyond that to pay a tribute to a part of England that I dearly love."
