Calibre Companion / Moon+ Integration Problem
 

Hi All

I use CC to organise my ebooks on a Nexus 7 tablet. I also use Moon+ as my reader and I access it directly from CC.

The problem I have is that rather than accessing the book directly, more often than not I get what I guess is the Moon+ “Home” screen ( the one with “My Files” “Net Library” “My Shelf” and “Statistics” on it ). I then tap the back button to go back into CC an tap “read” again and I’m taken to book.

This doesn’t happen every time and I don’t think it happens the first time I access Moon+ from CC - but I’m not 100% sure of this. I happens with both versions of Moon+. As far as I can recall it didn’t happen with FBReader when I was trying it out.

That happens to me only when Moon+ (pro) wants to say something, usually the "whats new" dialog.

My guess is that one of us has changed one of the zillion settings that has an effect of this behavior. Some possibilities:
- Misc settings:
-- Open last file at startup: checked
-- Sync reading positions via dropbox: checked
- Control settings:
-- Back key: Close Moon+ reader

In case it helps, I have attached a backup of my settings (pro) to see if it makes the problem go away. The actual backup is inside the zip file, with an .mrpro extension. The file is binary and opaque so I don't know all that is in there. I suggest that before using it you make a backup of your own settings.

I've checked the "Back Key - Close..." setting and that seems to have done the trick, although I need to check it more thoroughly. I have played around with the Moon settings and if was checked by default initially I could have unchecked it.
