Austen, Jane: The Watsons, v1, IMP, 20 Dec 2007
 

This unfinished novel was written by Jane Austen about 1803-1805, but was not published until 1871, as part of James Edward Austen-Leigh's Memoir. It ends with an indication of the continuation and conclusion as remembered by Jane auten's sister, Cassandra.

Emma Watson returns to her family (who are barely clinging on to genteel status) after a long absence. A local lord shows an interest towards her but she prefers a clergyman.
