Kobo book clubs

I just saw a couple of posts in the discount code thread about Kobo books clubs and getting promo codes. I was wondering what is involved in being in the Kobo books club.

I believe the Kobo Book club was (or is) a promotional offer tied to buying a Kobo Touch after a certain date.

To get in on the Kobo Book Club you had to purchase and activate a Kobo Touch between November 24, 2011 and March 31, 2012.

I had used the latest promo code and got a free book (one of the 2 April books), hope that was OK.
