Automated Emails
 

Do any of the stores (Amazon, B&N, Smashwords, etc.) provide the option to receive an automated email notice either when a book is purchased or when a review goes up?

It would honestly be such a valuable tool for tracking how useful certain promotions are, PLUS it would feed my information junkie tendencies.

Smashwords sends out email notices. Though they don't let you know when stuff is sold in B&N or elsewhere. I don't think Amazon sends out notices

Only Smash does that I know of. I have the same problem you have... and I have a collection of book marks that I pop open from time to time through out the day for that reason. Yes, I know I have a problem... LOL
