Preferences -> Saving books to disk -> Format dates as

In Prefs, the Save to disk page has a "Format dates as:" field that uses different formatting than elsewhere in the product. This is not ideal, as particularly with FILENAMES (as opposed to the library book list view) it's useful to be able to generate filenames with sortable date strings. For instance, I can sort by a YYYY-MM-dd type string 'properly' but cannot do so using a %Y-%b-%d.

Is there any way to use normal numeric date strings in this field...? When trying to use other types of format strings (like the expected YYYY-MM-dd), the related calibre thread actually crashes... :(

Is there a way to do hour/min/sec?
Trying to "know" which ones I have edited most recently

Thanks very much. I guess I had tried %M and caused a crash with an unsupported/unexpected char...
