Translated by Robert Latta.
The Monadology (La Monadologie, 1714) is one of Gottfried Leibniz’s best known works representing his later philosophy. It is a short text which sketches in some 90 paragraphs a metaphysics of simple substances, or monads. |
Thanks so much for sharing your philosophy collection - did you "tidy up" some of the stuff on Google or get them from other sources? I have plans to do some very serious editing of some of Google's dreadful EPUB output when I get some free time. At least we now have access to some of these works of scholarship thanks to the internet.

The Monadology isn't, but the rest of the philosophy ebooks I posted are cleaned up from google, checked against the pdf.
Cleaning up those epubs is really time consuming, I have a couple that I'd like to clean up, but I just don't have the time... |
