IREX 1000

IREX 1000 does not support greek language. If i convert a pdf with greek font, it will not be possible to read it with IREX 1000 but is it possible to read it, if the pdf remains in its initial format?

you can read whatever language format in PDF as long as the font is embedded in the pdf file.

What firmware do you use? The current version 2.0-rc3 supports Greek language for user interface (although the translations are not complete at this moment) and should show PDF, epub and even (utf8 encoded) txt and html files in Greek without issues.

Get it here: http://updates.irexnet.com/beta/

Gertjan mentioned a little while ago that things are quiet right now because of the transition to the new company, but that development of the firmware is continuing.

Really? That's good news. I thought the firmware would stay forever at 2.0 RC3:D
Which firmware do you recommand? I'm currrently using the latest. the zooming is not so handy since I don't know how to make the PDF fit width while in horizontal mode (display the upper half of the file in full screen).
