Virtual Pool Beta for Dell Axim X50v

Dell Axim X50v users are now invited to beta test a special version of Virtual Pool Mobile optimized for the Intel 2700G graphic accelerator of the Axim X50v. The screenshots look drop dead gorgeous!

Thanks to PocketGamer for the tip!

This is a really good looking game. I don't think Palm OS has anything like it.
I kinda miss playing pool since my favorite pool hall closed down and became a karate dojo.

sigh. It's so hard to be a Palm guy when some of these PPC devices and softwares are sooooo appealing.

I know what you mean. But you may find with Linux comes a resurgence in PalmOS applications. It wasn't too long ago that PPC was the one without apps.

In the meantime, you can always play the PC version, which for this kind of app, is probably better than a handheld version anyway... http://www.celeris.com/games/vp3/index.html
