Not sure what to do

I have a manual i am wanting to put on the kindle 3 to view, it is a PDF and 17meg in size, is it better to convert to mobi, or just put the 17meg PDF on???

Since it's a manual, it probably has formatting and pictures. Just keep it as a PDF.

I've had no problems opening 30+ mb PDF on my K3, it works perfectly.

Shouldn't be a problem. Why not try before making things more complicated?
