Thumbs up Russian Winter - Daphne Kalotay

I have just begun to read this impressive first novel from Dapne Kalotay, but I am enjoying it so much (Kindle edition) that I just had to bring it to your attention.

From Amazon:
A mysterious jewel holds the key to a life-changing secret, in this breathtaking tale of love and art, betrayal and redemption.

A review:

Highly recommended.
