New member needs advice

Having used Sony Reader Library for some time without problems, I have 2 questions.

1) Where are the books loaded into the library on my PC so that I can back them up?

2) How can I "edit" the Book titles and Author details?

I have Sherlock Holmes books from several sources and Authors are listed as "Sir Conan Doyle", "Conan Doyle" etc and I'd love to make them consistent.

1) My books are located in My Documents>My Books>Reader Library. But all your books are also backed up online in your Sony account, to re-download when you need to.

2) To the best of my knowledge there isn't really any way to change book titles and authors on the Reader Library software. If you often get books from other sources I highly recommend the Calibre software, which is available for free download from their website. This software makes is so much easier to manage your ebooks. One click can change the author/title/tag (which is essentially a collection). Try it out, it works great. It just won't work with Sony DRMed books (silly DRM).
