Android bests Apple becoming 3rd most popular Smartphone OS in the World.
Android has grown rapidly this year, it's growth in popularity has also benefited many of the phone vendors that supported the OS, namely HTC who now sits on the 8ths slot largely due to Andriod.

I have edited the thread title to indicate that it is specifically Smartphones you're talking about, not computers in general.
