average time for making ePub's
How long does it take on average to make ePub from one indesign file with 400 pages? I´m a little bit curious and I want to know if I am slow.

How long does it take you?
Just kidding...If the book has minimal to no images, then around an hour...

Depends on what you want the epub looks like. Want dropcaps? Images? Alternative fonts? Special formating in CSS? etc etc.
Could vary from half an hour to a couple of days.

If your InDesign file is already setup properly with all the styling organised in paragraph and character styles then it'll take about 10 seconds to fill in the ISBN in the export dialog and check that the options are correct. You'll probably want it to split correctly on chapter headings, so add another minute to set up and generate the ToC needed to define the chapters.
