Poetry thread

I haven't found a poetry thread on here (for posting other people's poetry, not our own, although that would be fine too) and I thought it might be a nice idea. Hopefully there's some poetry lovers out there.

This thread contains a large number of instances of copyright infringement. The moderating team does not have the resources to watch threads like this, and decide what is and is not a legitimate post, and we have therefore taken the decision to close it and not permit any similar threads in the future. We have a thread on which you can post your own poetry here.

Please bear in mind the following points:

• Poems are copyrighted works, just like books. You can't just post a copyrighted poem without the permission of the copyright holder.
• The fact that you find a poem on a web site doesn't mean that it's OK to repost it here without doing the appropriate copyright research.
• Posting copyrighted material could get both you and MobileRead into serious trouble, and could result in an immediate and permanent ban from MobileRead.

Copyright infringement is a very serious matter, and we can't afford to take any chances. Please take extreme caution before posting anything like poetry to ensure that either it's in the public domain, or that you have the permission of the copyright holder to post it.
