Using Connect Store "credit" outside the US

I know that the Connect Store won't let people outside the US buy books, but does anyone know if people outside the US can use the $50 registration "credit"?

I suppose I should just try it and find out, but I was wondering if anyone else had succeeded (or failed) .

Yes you can - once the Reader is registered, you can spend away.

Not that any of us are using our Readers outside the US :-)

Yes, you can. There were several threads about it.

If you need any more credit after you run through the first $50 (which goes quick!) I can purchase giftcards on your behalf through the Connect store if you send me paypal which then you take the giftcode and use. I've done that for about 10 non-US people here on the boards. Just send me a PM.

Thank you, LG - that's extremely kind of you. I may very well take you up on that in the future!
