Too Many Ratings

I'm currently using calibre 0.7.3 somewhere along the way I ended up with fake ratings (see attached). I'm relatively certain this happened a ways back (0.6.??). Any idea what file I have to kill to get this back to normal.

Ratings are stored as a number from 1 to 10, but represented as 1 to 5. I don't know why this is, but my guess is something changed a while ago.

What I think has happened to you is that you have some ratings that aren't 0,2,4,6,8,10.

I am reasonably sure you can fix it by searching on a rating, selecting all the books, then using the bulk metadata editor to set the rating to what it should be.

Yeah this is one of those legacy things (way back when I had ratings between 0 and 10 and later decided to display them as 5).

I tend not to use rating with Calibre. If a title sticks in my mind, that's reminder enough that it's a worthy read. And I tend to delete books I don't like, anyway, to keep my library uncluttered. You can, of course, easily adjust or remove ratings in Calibre. Cheers. Neli
