Windows Mobile, Fennec dead

I see that the firefox team has given up on Windows Mobile development at version 1.a1, which won't load the latest epubreader extension.
Is there an archived version of the reader that does work with this dead-ended version of fennec for wm6?

No, sorry, the minimum version which EPUBReader needs, is 1.0. In previous versions there were some bugs which prevented EPUBReader from working correctly.
