Newspaper subscriptions question

Hi all. I am brand new to Kindle ownership and this board.

I have what is probably a stupid question, but Amazon doesn't seem to be clear.

When at a listing, such as the Austin American Statesman, it will give the price ($13.99, I think), but it doesn't state how long the subscription lasts for. I'm assuming it's for 1 month, but the website doesn't clarify. Maybe when viewing on the Kindle it will state? (Still waiting for Kindle to arrive.)

All the subscriptions I've purchased have been charged monthly. If that holds true it would be $13.99 per month for your newspaper.
