I would much prefer it if I could get more words per page, and less page turns. I'm really hoping that the next firmware upgrade will allow a flexible setting for line spacing. |

Calibre has an option that takes out lines.

+1 on that ... I'm a fast reader and even with the font set to small, the double-spacing creates a lot of button pushes. I love reading the Calibre subscriptions since most of them come through with single-spacing, and I can change font size after deleting the css file. More content per page would be a blessing!
