The funny thing about this is, my family used to live near this location. My father and grandfather KNEW the people involved. Betty MacDonald took a few liberties in describing the people. Oh well. But Egg and I road still exists....

How interesting. Wikipedia notes that one local family sued for defamation, but the case was settled out of court.
