Do you have an Adobe ID?
Have you authorised the computer with Adobe?
Have you authorised the Reader with Adobe?
You have to have done all three before you can load DRM-protected books.

trouble authorizing sony prs600 touch
I formerly had a sony 700. I have used both primarily for editing my own writing, so I have just now, some 8 months after my first purchase (the 700) downloaded my first novels. Adobe has listed my 700, my computer, and a 600 that it does not recognize as the same one when I plug in my 600. I'm certain the adobe people have to wipe out the 600 that they recognize so I can re-try the process. How in the world can I make that happen?
