And I don't even want to think about having to get mine done. Good Luck orlok.

Although we are suppose to have all our paperwork for taxes here by February, I still end up waiting until the middle of March for some of it to get mailed to me.

Ha! I have hot coffee in my cup and time to drink it while it is still hot, for a change.

Yeah.. the the tax man cometh here too. Soon, I will have to gather that up. I pay some one to do them now though - with my business, books, rental property, and etc. Its just to many laws. The account always finds more deductions/etc then I can - or Turbo Tax can - enough to cover her services.

We have to do it by the end of March; all digital and the return is automatically calculated. But I have the impression the tax increases and the diminishing of deductions are getting out of hand (for me,that is.....

I wish. I've just completed it, and I owe the tax man just over £560

. This is the first year that they haven't given me a rebate. This on top of losing the Child Benefit monthly allowance is not good. And our company recently said no pay increases... I should ask the mods to move this to the Vent & Rant thread, I think.

Good morning, everyone! It's the end of January... just another day and we can begin a brand new month. I love changes! In honor of that, I'm going to drink something brand new with this morning's breakfast; my cup is filled with.... Milk! Unfortunately, I don't have any Oreo cookies to go with it, so I'm going to settle for a bowl of muesli with fruit instead. But Oreo cookies would really taste better. Or Fig Newtons.

I'll meet with my Senior Citizen's Conversation group this afternoon. I really MUCH prefer teaching adults (who want to learn) than teens who 'have to' learn. I find myself going over the class ending time every week because everyone is so caught up in the discussions. I'm just as happy to continue too, as the conversations are so interesting. These folks are so busy 'living' their lives. I wonder if it's because they realize they don't have that much time left?
