Cool prs-505 charging issue
e-reader says was battery is dead. had it replaced, now it will not charge either with ac adapter or by computer. red light never comes on. have tried soft restart. any one else have this problem. how did you solve it?

Is the AC Adapter one with a barrel plug or USB? Some usb chargers and computers will not charge a Sony properly.

I have one of each, it will not charge on either. I have heard that it costs about $125.00 to have sony to replace the battery. I am wondering if it is worth doing their exchange program for $99.00 and wait 3 months for a replacement or try to find a local repair service? or just give up and buy another one.
