Student and Faculty Discount.

I just got on SonyStyle.com and noticed the Special Offer section at the bottom of the screen.

* Special Offers Computers
* Cameras & Camcorders
* TV & Home Entertainment
* Reader Digital Books
* MP3 & Portable Electronics
* PlayStation
* Outlet

When you click on "Reader Digital Books", it brings you to a page offering 10% for student and Faculty. The brand new price would be:

PRS 600 $269.99
PRS 300 $179.99.

I was wondering if this deal would work with the trade-in rebate for PRS 500 owner. That would make.

PRS 600 $194.99
PRS 300 $129.99

effectively.

So, I called up SonyStyle Retail Store. The sale rep said that I can't combine the two. Bummer.

Any case, just an fyi for any student or faculty out there.
