Icy Heat, by Leigh Wyndfield, from her Heat series. This is the sole freebie today that isn't from a Christian publishing house. Far from that in fact, as this one is from Samhain, so pay attention to the content warning.

Your WARNING makes this book look great, but this is about normal passion. (Ok: "burning passion.")

Dr. Drib - Samhain lets the authors write the warning for their own books (some are so explicit, they need warnings, which is it's own warning about the book content). I find that a humorous warning often means better writing inside (if you like the genre). This one seems pretty neutral. I do try to include the warnings in the postings, but sometimes they are not on the Amazon listings (if I happen to look up the book on another site or at Samhain, I'll sometimes see another warning there). At least we now have permanent delete, if you get a book you really object to having in your library.

P.S.: I'm going to go watch "Phantom of the Opera." __________________ “How to Write the First 3 Paragraphs of YOUR Indie Novel” - by Max Waxwelp 1) Always write 3 sentences of exposition; 2) now create some dialogue, preferably no more than 2 sentences; and 3) make certain the dialogue is either inane or humorous. Example: “Bob, I did not know you wore yellow suspenders,” Sally remarked. “Gee, Sally, those are not suspenders. I am wearing yellow underwear today,” Bob revealed.
