Dilnot, George: Scotland Yard, v1, 15 March 2010.
Scotland Yard: The Methods and Organisation of the Metropolitan Police [1915] The author is a police officer who describes the workings of Scotland Yard and the Metropolitan Police in the early 20th century. He can’t resist including a couple of anecdotes illustrating occasions when his colleague, Frank Froest, gets things wrong. (We have a couple of Mr Froest’s detective novels in the MR library.) I don’t have a death date for the author, so I’m putting this on the US server. This work is in the Canadian public domain OR the copyright holder has given specific permission for distribution. Beachwanderer has found that George Dilnot's dates are 1883-1951, so I've moved the book to our Canadian server.
