Trout, is there a library near you with a decent selection of epub ebooks? If so, that might be another way to go.

I'm not sure ANY library in Britain has a selection of ebooks. No state owned ones as far as I'm aware anyway.

Our wiki section on lending libraries mentions Essex; also Windsor & Maidenhead, with an enigmatic mention of Cheshire:

The only problem is that you have to have a libray card and you can only get this by proving you live in the area

Jolly expensive, though, compared to the £9 that Amazon are charging for the hardback.

Yeah that gets me with quite a few ebooks, why are some more expensive that the environmentally unfriendly paper ones

Help save the planet people, ebooks use far less resources (just a bit of electrickery )
I can`t understand why more people don`t know about them.
