4 Scarpetta Novels - $7.99 - Kindle

http://www.amazon.com/Four-Scarpetta...8651960&sr=1-6

Don't know if this is a typo - but you can get 4 novels for the price of one.
This package originally debuted with a price over $30, then settled in at $28.

Perfect for Patricia Cornwell fans.

I came very close to buying this when i first saw it........then realized they didn't even put the books in chronological order.!
Postmortem (1990)
Body of Evidence (1991)
All That Remains (1992)
Cruel and Unusual (1993

Its important to read these in the proper order, the character development adds to the experience.

Someone dropped the ball...but it was good of you to post it anyway!

These are from mid-series - when her writing began to go downhill - so the 5 star reviews are from fans who buy anything she writes, and the 1 star reviews are from fans bitterly disappointed by books with plots that made very little sense.

The problem is that the entire series is not available as eBooks and until they are, I suggest not buying anything in the series. Actually, it seems the first five are only available in the UK. Why do we have this sort of nonsense?

Yes, I saw these on Fictionwise and they are the mid-series ones. I only like the early ones before she went third-person-literary and started doing really dumb things with the characters.

This isn't even the books in the collection.

This one has books 11, 12, 14 and 15 (skipping #13, Trace). Presumably it has a TOC, so the order in the collection makes little difference.

These were available earlier as Scarpetta Collection vol. 1 - I bought it - but it's not listed now on Amazon.

So, the books in the package are not the start of the series? Then I will stay away from it.
