Could everyone please take a step back...

My mother has swine flu. If you'd like to help her, then she wants you to help her get her revenge. Eat some bacon, ribs, chops, or some other pork product. Thank you.

Curiously enough, her HMO (one of the largest in this area) was not issued any swine flu vaccine. Coincidentally, it was also a vocal opponent to government take over of healthcare industry. Hmm. I wonder if there's a connection?

“...one of the largest in the area”? Who was it, Optima? The folks who, once when I went to the emergency room with chest pains, initially refused to pay when the pains were later discovered to be only muscle spasms?

They only agreed to pay after I asked them to provide me with documentation that it was their policy for their members to resort to medical attention only if they were absolutely certain that they were having heart attacks.

Love the current system. Who says we need another option?

Nate, I hope your mother gets well soon! As for revenge, I'm sure all pigs are honestly sorry and had no intent to infect her...
