I'm thinking about upgrading from my K2 to a new reader. So far I'm looking at the Nook, Sony daily edition and the iRex dr800sg (or I may just keep the K2).
My Requirements are: 3G connectivity, Less DRM than my Kindle, e-ink, and comparable size to Kindle. My Preferences are: Touchscreen, minimal buttons (onscreen keyboard?) to maximize reading surface, MP3, ability to Lend books or borrow from library, expandable storage, ability to create a notes file without a transfer(grocery list etc.), and expandable storage. I know, I'm asking for a lot. So far I don't think I like the Nooks color touch screen. I'd rather have the whole screen be touch and not have color like the Sony. But at 2/3 the price of the Sony the Nook looks like a better deal. I haven't looked into the iRex much yet. Any thoughts or helpful advice? Obviously I have some time to decide since these aren't even out yet.

Of the three, only the DR800S has folders. Its touch screen requires a stylus, and I suggest you wait to see what its actual battery life is (iRex has always had problems with this on earlier devices). Also, the DR800SG can't take notes - although the similar DR1000S can (so this capability might come along later).
