oui, je pense que tu n'es pas la seule à être contente qu'ils proposent enfin cette solution. je me demande si c'est un peu en réaction à l'annonce du nook de Barnes & Noble, peut-être qu'ils commencent à trouver que ça chauffe...

Vu le poids de B&N aux États-Unis, il doit y avoir ne serait qu'un petit peu plus qu'une simple coïncidence

Ils ont aussi dit qu'une version pour Mac était en préparation (ils doivent se souvenir d'une des raisons de la venue d'Apple sur le marché des balladeurs numériques )

A tout hasard j'ai charché twilight. Déja, dispo pour l'europe alors que la derniére fois, c'était pas le cas. Et le titre est "Twilight (epub)

Heu, tu fais pas. Cause les drm. Il n'y a pas (encore), de moyen de recuperer le pid, qui permerterait de degager les drm, et donc de convertir en format lisible par autre chose que le kindle. ça me fout les boules ! (Mais j'aurais du le voir venir...)

Donc finalement je m'interroge...

Si c'est pas pour viser ceux qui ont une autre marque de reader, c'est pour viser qui ? Ceux qui lisent sur pc ?!

Enfin on peut espérer qu'un script sortent rapidement, la communauté du kindle a l'air très active ^_^

ben oui. parce qu'il paraît que dans ce contexte, amazon détourne l'appellation "epub" pour signifier "European Publication" (les éditions disponibles en europe) ou un truc similaire. parce que ça va jamais porter à confusion, ça, évidemment. </sarcasme>

il paraît qu'il y en a... mais c'est vrai que pour moi aussi, tant que c'est verrouillé, je n'en ai pas l'utilité. (il n'empêche, je crois que je vais l'installer ne serait-ce que pour choper l'éventuel bouquin gratuit, quitte à me le garder sous le coude pendant un temps... )

je crois en effet qu'il y a des chances. cela dit, vu les tendances agressives d'amazon dès qu'il s'agît de protéger leur chasse gardée, attendez-vous à ce que ce script soit interdit de séjour ici officiellement et qu'il circule plus ou moins sous le manteau.

et sans vouloir pinailler les livres qu'on achète chez amazon ne sont pas "officiellement" du mobi, mais bien au format propriétaire amazon. vivi, biensûr, c'est en fait grosso modo du mobi avec juste un format de drm modifié, histoire qu'on peut pas les lire sur n'importe quelle liseuse mobi. en tout cas, pour l'instant. mais amazon semble vouloir étouffer le mobipocket, et ils font une distinction très nette entre les deux (d'où justement l'incompatibilité "officielle"), il est donc possible qu'à l'avenir amazon fasse évoluer son format azw et qu'il ne soit plus compatible du tout avec le mobipocket de base. leur format azw1 ("topaz") aux verrous spécifiques n'est déjà pas compatible, si j'ai bien compris.
