Please try this procedure for recognition
For any having any problem with getting their computer to recognize the Pocket PRO, our head tech recommends this procedure: 1. Plug in the USB cable to the computer first 2. Plug in the other end to the Pocket PRO last 3. When the screen comes up, hit the "OK" button. He says this should take care of the problem. If not, WE are available for technical calls at: 1-866-368-8788 or email to: support@astak.com Ask for Amy!!

there is not a lock code. But a short push of the power button locks the keyboard and then another short push of the power button unlocks the keyboard.

This is in lieu of powering down the device. There is almost never a need to actually power down the device. Locking the keyboard prevents accidentally pressing the keys when not using the device.

I've noticed that after a day or so of use (with a freshly charged battery) the PP "acts" like it is locked even when it is not. I can turn it off and back on and it "may" act normal for a page turn or two but then acts like it is locked. The battery indicator shows a full battery. I can recharge it and it will act normal for a day or so.
So far I have been charging using the AC charger, not connected to the computer. It has now been cycled through this way 3 times and is charging for the 4th time.
