Bol.com sells 1,500 Sony readers
Dutch internet bookseller Bol.com has already sold 1,500 Sony ebook readers. According to an article on Nu.nl, Bol began selling the Sony readers one-and-a-half weeks ago and sales exceeded expectations. The internet bookseller also sold 2,000 ebooks, with authors Stieg Larsson, David Baldacci, and Marion Pauw being most popular. Bol.com sells the PRS-600 and the PRS-300.

1,500 readers and 2,000 books. That's great!

Considering there have been a few thousand ereaders sold the last 2 years... (not counting the readers sold from september onwards)...
I also read somewhere that Selexyz (a B&M store) also sold more Iliads the last month than last year... Let's hope more publishers get the message and the backcatalog will be turned out in ebook format as well...

Selexyz sold about 1200 iRex readers in the past 2 years, but the rate has increased to several dozens a day now.

And it's weird because the iLiad will never support drmed epub, which is what bol sells.
