When Zelda Passes Harry

As some of you may be aware, HarryT is the most prolific poster at MobileRead with 20,050 posts. Over his time at MobileRead, Harry has averaged 19.92 posts per day. The second most prolific poster is Zelda Pinwheel with a ttoal of 19,691 posts. Zelda, posting in bothe French and English, has averaged 31.45 posts per day in her time at MobileRead. Given her higher post rate -- all other things being equal -- we should expect her to pass Harry 23 Sept 2009.

Currently Harry has 359 posts more than Zelda and she is posting an average of 11.53 more posts per day than Harry. This equates that posting parity should be achieved in 31.14 days or sometime in the midday of 23 Sept 2009.

MR will stop rotating on its axis?
We will have a huge party?
dogs and cats, living together? (wait, that one might already be happening)

Given that this is summer and Zelda is swamped with work, I'll place my bet on... September 25th. Although a meet-up is scheduled soon in Paris... still, September 25th!

oh the pressure !! it is unbearable !!! interesting choice of dates, by the way.

as vcat said, currently my posting frequency is somewhat reduced (damned work...) so my average is certainly suffering. i guess we'll just have to wait and see.

(and someone else will have to keep track, since i am notoriously unreliable for noticing such things.

).

oh, and the next paris meetup is for the 19th of september !

We need to get some people who wannabe on the webz to hire Zelda and pile the money on her with wheelbarrows in order to preserve Harry's primacy! Quick! 1) who speaks French? 2) call a bunch of pharmacies and auto repair guys 3) convince them that the intarwebs are a really necessary part of being in the Century of the Fruitbat!

(Just doing my part, here. Or we can blame the Australians...)

I did. The pharmacy I called in Santa Monica is a bit busy right now. Apparently, marijuana sales are a bit high right now. And the auto repair guy in Ohio was crying cuz all the clunkers are getting to converted to cash (or something like that).
