I'm looking for a reaader that can read arabic as a present for my mum I've browsed some and can't seem to find any that fit the bill.

Can anyone help me please?

Sony Reader can display Arabic PDFs with embedded fonts, probably some others.

All devices which support PDF should be able to handle Arabic PDFs with embedded fonts.

Relatively few "native" eBook formats support right-to-left languages. ePub does but, for example, Mobi and BBeB don't.

Thank you for the replies...so out of the ones in the market which would you recommend for non-pdf reading?? If not I guess I'll go with the sony since I know it handles PDF well.
