Lightbulb [Feature Request] Folder sorting schemes for people with HUGE collections

It would be awesome if future versions of Calibre would add support for sorting your ebooks into folders using a different scheme than the current "Author -> Title -> Book files" method. And when I say different scheme I don't mean whatever joe sixpack feels like, but rather established systems such as Library of Congress Classification, Dewey Decimal Classification... etc.
It would be awesome to have folders such as "Class R - Medicine" or "P - Language and Literature" or simply "Technology" ... etc
