Hallo allerseits, ich lese gerade eine Studie bzgl. Leseverhalten in Europa. 75% aller Befragten lesen weniger als 8 Bücher pro Jahr (Bücher für Arbeit oder Studium nicht mitgezählt). Können wir besser, oder

Wieso, wie dick? 50 Bücher wär ja grad mal ein popeliges Buch pro Woche. Da würd ich glatt 50 Mal Krieg und Frieden schaffen.

Angesichts meiner üblichen Lesegeschwindigkeit sowie der Summe, die mein Konto für Literaturkäufe ausweist, sind 50 Bücher im Jahr nicht wirklich eine Hürde. Ich lese üblicherweise Mehrteiler und richtig fette Wälzer, schlankere Novellen oder kurze abgeschlossene Romane nur ab und zu.

Ein Buch in der Woche ist eine leichte Übung.
Zur Dicke derselben lässt sich da nichts einheitliches sagen, ich lese mehrere Serien,
die in unterschiedlicher Dicke und Regelmässigkeit erscheinen.
Und dann noch so alles, was mich interessiert.
Wenn Comics auch zählen, dann noch mal eine ganze Menge mehr.
(Keine Heftchen, ich sammle inzwischen nur noch Trades, dekadent, ich weiß)

Die Durchschnittsstatistik wird auch dadurch "getrübt", daß es im 2 Wochen-Urlaub auch gerne mal mehr als 10 Bücher sein dürfen, jenachdem wie das Wetter ist.

8-12 dürften es bei mir sein. Letztes Jahr war es ein ~2150 Seiten Büchlein und ein paar kürzere mit ca. 150-240 Seiten. Allerdings muss ich gestehen, dass es dieses Jahr noch keins war, das Studium ist da leider recht zeiteinnehmend und man sehnt sich an die Zivizeit vor 4 Jahren zurück
Hoffentlich wirds zur vorlesungsfreien Zeit wieder etwas entspannter, wenn nicht muss der Schlaf während der Weihnachtszeit extremst eingekürzt werden

Ich glaube die Intervalle in der Umfrage sind etwas zu klein geraten. Ich zähle jedenfalls die von mir gelesenen Bücher nicht so genau, dass ich jetzt sagen könnte, ob es 37 oder doch eher 42 waren...

Ein Buch pro Woche schaffe ich jedenfalls nicht ganz, Etwa 10 Tage pro Buch ist da glaube ich eher realistisch. Wenn ich die Web Serials hinzurechne, komme ich aber trotzdem auf geschätzte 40 Bücher pro Jahr.

Aber wenn es die Bücher sind, die ich zu meinem persönlichen Vergnügen lesen, dann sind es wohl nicht mehr als 12. (Nicht im Monat, im Jahr)

Ich muß gestehen, daß sich die Zahl der gelesenen Bücher bei mir seit Erwerb des Cybooks locker verzehnfacht hat.
Buch & Batterie ist einfach eine unwiderstehliche Kombination.

Ich kann auch die Hand reichen - denn komischerweise brauch' ich für ein ebook fast immer länger als für die Papierausgabe ... und in letzter Zeit lese ich ziemlich viel ebooks, so daß sich meine Frequenz auf 1 Buch alle 10-11 Tage verlangsamt hat. Sonst wäre es etwa 1 Woche - 1 Buch gewesen ...

Also ich muss sagen, dass ich mit dem Reader viel mehr lesen. Früher habe ich vielleicht so 12-14 Bücher im Jahr gelesen. Seit der kurzen Zeit, wo ich den Reader jetzt habe sind es schon 10. Hätte ich nicht gedacht.

Die Umfrage in diesem Forum wird die Zahlen sicherlich in die Höhe treiben. Auf den Durchschnitt der gesamten deutschen Bevölkerung wird das aber keinen Einfluß haben.
