Blurry text in landscape mode PRS-700

I have noticed that in reading PDF in the landscape mode, the first few lines of text and the last few lines of text are blurry but not in portrait mode. Is this a known issue or behavior or a defective device? Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I questioned this myself the first time I read a PDF in landscape mode and I don't find it very acceptable, yet others do.

its to allow you to read without rereading the same lines when you turn the page.

If you don't want those lines to appear you should format your books to landscape settings. I realize that you can't do that with PDFs but for other ebooks one makes for one self it works quite nicely
