Setup just crashes with this not so informative popup

I'm guessing that popup says there was a problem with the program and it had to close? This happens before the installation starts or during it?

I just execute the installer and it crashes right away with this message
saying "This program stopped functioning because of some problem. Windows will close the program and notify you if there is some solution."

You can log the install on windows. That may help here if re-downloading doesn't resolve it.
