What Should Happen to those who Hi-Jack a Serious Thread?

Much discussion going on about hi-jacking serious threads and inserting silly comments. We've even faced with a poll on re-naming, or inserting new descriptions.

So.

Once this is done, what should happen to those who still hi-jack a thread that is clearly labeled 'serious'?

Wait for the poll.

My response would be construed as off topic, so I'll keep my comments to myself

Is that like Marinetti's famous ball-bearings in jelly recipe? the one from the Futurist Cookbook?

mmmmm cake

I have half a Bakewell tart in the fridge, but i was saving that for after dinner...

As for voting, I'm torn between two, which basically say the same thing in different ways. Am I feeling flippant(ish) or serious(ish), that is the question...

A poll, a poll, yes! Let´s get silly - ooooops, wait - is this a serious-prefixed poll or a silly-prefixed one?
