Turning the page...

just curious if any of you have my habit of pressing and holding the page turn button before you're finished reading the current page.

I usually press the page turn button when I'm on the last line, but before I've quite finished reading. I don't hold it down, though.

I"ve learned to turn at just the right time, before I get to the end of the page.......

As soon as I hit the third line or so from the bottom, I hit it.

My pages turn fast enough under 2.0.2 on Kindle 2; I don't need to start turning in advance.

Why would you "hold down" the button?

The readers I have had if you hold the button it advances more than one page when you let it go.

that's right, so I'm getting better about not holding down the button, but for some reason, I still find myself doing it I can be a little slow on the uptake at times...

I do "press" the button before I get to the end of the page. But, never "hold" it down. I know about how long the delay is at this point.

Same here, but voted yes anyway. That way I finish the last few words on that page while it has that slight pause before flashing the next page.
